Crypto Scam Crypto scams are getting a lot more common, so here’s a space to share them all. Tech Support Scam Companies engaging in fraudulent tech support practices such as fake popups and cold calls should have their information shared here. Robo Calls Scammers who use automated systems to call people in hopes that they will get a catch. Government Scam Government scam covers all attempts to defraud in the name of a government, for example pretending to be the IRS, CRA, HMRC. Travel Scam Section for travel scammers Romance Scam Scammers who pretend to be a romantic partner in order to steal money. Refund Scam Scammers are contacting victims of scams in order to “refund” them the lost money, but they end up stealing more money by fooling victims into thinking they’ve received more money in their bank accounts, only to send the scammer money they never received.
