I called the number and said that I got locked out of my Kindle Paperwhite so first, he tried to send a password reset link to the fake email account I told him and then when I said that I had network problems and I had hackers on my WIFI, he got really confused about what scam he's actually running and he tried to "help" me with that. His "help" consisted of asking me to pay $150 and let him connect to my computer through GoToAssist but I obviously didn't let him. After that, I decided to pry some information out of him and asked for his name. He said that his name was STEVE and after I asked where he's located, to my surprise, he said INDIA. I proceeded to try to call him out on scamming and after about 20 minutes of that, he eventually just hung up.
Also, he constantly had some really loud background noise so I'm curious what the deal was with that. (This was the loudest background noise I ever heard on a call with a scammer.)
And if anyone wants, his GoToAssist pin is 371872523.
