legitscambaiter It's a scam. Fake address = scam. Wouldn't trust a tech support service with a fake address. I tried to get someone over at US Global Tech to explain it to me and they never responded. Also, tech support scams don't necessarily have to do pop-ups or cold calls in order to scam people. There are deceptive tech scam companies such as Myphonesupport (although does conduct cold calls) that place their ad online claiming to offer "legit" support. They trick the victim into thinking they offer authentic support and use other software that give out false positives to convince their victims into thinking they have issues and thus pay for phony services. Tech Scam owners, such as Raman Roy, make a lot of money from this and they need to be stopped. They sometimes syskey. I've had a Myphonesupport agent try to delete my files and syskey me.
Anyways, we need to investigate more on this US Global Tech scam.
