Hi my name is Emiliano and I am the owner of Prosperity Benefit Services. I am contacting you because I noticed that my company has been listed on your website as a scam company. There is a post that was created by the user NeeP on June of 2020. I would like for this post to be removed immediately due to defamation.
The post says we contacted NeeP using the phone number 616-228-9749, which is a phone number that does not belong to my company. I contacted that same number myself and was told they were a call center where they transfer calls to various companies for numerous types of businesses. I tried asking why they gave my company name out and they would just hang up on me. I call the phone number months after and it is no longer in service. This just proves my case that that number has no association with our company.
NeeP also posted about our BBB reviews (he called them complaints but complaints and reviews are very different). We are registered with the BBB as you would be able to see if you look up our company through their website. The BBB is a well-known private organization that will not register any business that is a scam. He states we have a bunch of complaints but in reality, it’s just 2 reviews from clients who were under the impression that we were the company that referred us the business.
NeeP now talks about an address being a virtual address which doesn’t really mean anything, almost all companies have a mailing address for many reasons that require no explanation.
NeeP then goes to speak about me. As a business owner it is quite normal for your name to be made public, especially when registered with different organizations. NeeP googled my name and immediately thought that I am this person who has a Wikipedia entry with a bad reputation and associates himself with the wrong crowd. These are very strong accusations that he is making on me personally because he is telling the world that I am a person who I am not. There are hundreds of thousands of people with the same first and last name. This is definitely libel and malice.
My employees don’t deserve the uncalled-for harassment that was encouraged by NeeP. Our clients need assistance and it is unfair for them to have a long hold time because of these illegal robocalls.
Again, please remove the post immediately and send over confirmation.
