These guys are absolute gold. You definitely want to lure a phone conversation with one of these unfiltered phone scammers. I want to go over a few key things that might help some of you viewing posts like this and who might be also having problems connecting to phone numbers. (I will not be linking anything, because Google is Open Source).
Hide.me - Seriously. One of the best solutions for hiding behind a VPN, you can toggle your IP with ease. This comes in handy in the event they are in possession of your IP. With this, you are invincible.
FireRTC - A free, easy to use web-based service for online calls. What makes this so good is you can change your own phone number in 3 seconds, and it comes with a free soundboard as well as a recording feature. With this, you can trick the scammer into thinking you are someone else on the Caller ID, and avoid those nasty blocks!
List of Area Codes - I can't stress this enough. This is a must. When disguising your phone number with a fake one, you must at least choose an area code that exists. It's for this reason you might never have the scammer pick the phone up, simply because if you're calling from a legitimate number, it will list the City and State from where the Area Code is centered. If you're calling from a non-listed Area Code, there will be no City and State. And no bite from the scammer!
I hope these things help some of you. It seems we have been hitting them extra hard lately, from how their answering methods have changed. They have diverted to tactics such as waiting for every caller to sit on Hold for 10 minutes before speaking, so to justify the "time wasted" we're trying to accomplish. When you think about it, their main objective is to obtain legitimate phone numbers and make the phone calls themselves. They are already on alert by the simple fact that you are calling them.
Stay vigilant, guys. And Happy Holidays!
