Eviltaco799 It is indeed active again! I gots me one of those $100 gift cards on the way to my address... errr... well, to some address - in Montana near a river I think. Only costed me $2.95 for postage and handling! I know it's coming because I got me one of those confirmation codes too! Funny though, they apparently took and confirmed my bogus Mastercard that was from a bank in Pakastan (Union Bank Ltd.). Too bad he didn't ask for the banks customer support number like the zero interest rate guys, as I had that on hand as well (hint: You have to dial 011 then 92 first if calling from the US). No worries though, he gave me the customer support number to call should I have any questions or problems receiving the card ( 1-800-614-6055 ).
Very weird setup. The initial contact takes down your info, then hands off to the senior person to close the deal. He then started some automated system that asks all the stuff all over again along with a few more questions, all the while listening in on the call and interjecting whenever you object or deviate off the question asked.
Finally, they launch into a bunch of those prerecorded 'offers' that only cost a few bucks up front, and then automatically start a recurring monthly charge unless you call and cancel. Typical shady offers and snakeoil deals that many people fall into unwittingly. Only wasted 15 minutes, but it is the weekend, so it's slim pickings!
