Any company that’s calling you and claiming to be Microsoft is automatically a scam. Microsoft does not call people. Did you know if the man on the phone had an Indian accent? I’m assuming he did. Also you’d be surprised how long long of these companies last, some are quite sophisticated, well have to look into these guys, should be very interesting.
Going off what people here are able to, I can almost guarantee you this phone number will be closed within a few hours. Seems as though they spoofed their number, sadly this one leads no where. Hopefully we’re able to find the company that did this, the businesses real name probably is listed somewhere under the activity log of your fathers payments, that’d be great if you could get us this. Also, please have your father call his credit card/banking company (or whatever business was in charge of passing the payment through) and see if they can help you get the money back in any way. I also recommend canceling whatever medium was used to make the payment, doing this might also stop the charge from being processed depending on how long ago this occurred.
